*raises an eyebrow*

While the Paladin's Turn Undead ability is weaker than the Cleric's, it is by no means useless. It is far more effective to run around exploding shadows than to chop-suey all of them. At higher-levels, you will start to appreciate the Turn Undead ability, although if you have a Cleric, you will most probably use your Cleric instead. Eventually though, Paladins can Turn Undead as well as a Cleric, in ToB that is.

Do not underestimate the Paladin's spellcasting abilities. Armour of the Faith, Draw Upon Holy Might and Free Action are very useful to a Paladin, and can be casted before any major battles.

You cannot stack Hardiness, but you can stack Hardiness and Armour of the Faith, giving you 65% physical damage resistance. Very handy.

Draw Upon Holy Might can boost your STR, CON and DEX to 25 each... nice yes?

And Free Action is always good to have.

Cheers.
