Not sure why. Did they tell you to get out of the room or anything?
The T'Rang have a room that is blocked and as soon as ya enter, they tell you to get out. If you don't get out fast enough (it's like 5 seconds?) they attack. I ended up attacking them and ruining my faction with the T'Rang... but oh well. Running through base and having their guards attack me was a blast, cuz I could walk all over them.
