Aside from my Know Portal Location (see page one of this thread), another thing I wish we could do is physically write in the journal, and not just have the game do it. If you have played Realms of Arkania (namely Star Trail), you know what I mean. Players had the ability to write whatever they want in the journal, along with whatever the game puts in there. This allowed us to make our own notes (and not have 300 pages of paper), and also let us get creative if we wanted to (say, write from one of your character's point of view about something).
