The RFS-81 is supposed to go everythere (from what I heard). He can't cast spells, though, but is great in combat nonetheless. As I have very decent casters in my party this isn't really an issue for me. So you might consider to pick him up, unless you need the gadgeteer or have a monk already in your roster.
