There may be slight spoilers here for Trynton as that's where I'm at.

First of all, I read a while back on another Wizardry 8 board that you could carry almost limitless items in your Party Items. So, unlike other RPGs that I've played, I've been lolligagging around putting everything in my Party Items. Yesterday I read how this slows down your party, yadda yadda yadda.

Well, I checked last night...

*D'oh!*

I should have realized this, but carrying *many* arrows weighs a lot! Plus bullet stones!

After dropping a whole heap of this stuff in Trynton, guess what?! My party is FLYING! Wow, battles are easier! I'm finally having multiple attacks with more folks in battle.

So I'm feeling pretty sheepish, but still on top of my game, right?

*Trynton minor spoilers coming*

I'm at the "zoo" area in Trynton and since I'm feeling like superman, I decide to attack the creatures in the cells. Everything goes fine, even with the Hogar (who has a name which makes me feel guilty for killing him).

As soon as I let loose the crocodiles, I get attacked by four big spiders. So now I'm fighting these crocodiles that I've let loose like an idiot AND these new spiders.

Luckily I saved my game...

For all of this effort, I get some metal shoes, a metal ball and a metal plate. I'm wondering if this was even important enough or if I should just reload from the previous save (before I let these creatures out of their cages).

At this point, I quit for the night continuing to berate myself and repeating "Stones and Arrows Are Heavy" (and sounding like the really stupid guy from the demo ["Cruuuuush theeeemmmm!")
