Finally fixed my crash to desktop issues (so far) and I have these, now:

(1) When NPCs offer magic (like brother braffit) how do I ask for it?

(2) How does my gadgeteer make stuff? I have chips, a mirror, lightning rod, electrodes, hinged box and duct tape! Do I have to do something, or will he just cough stuff up occasionally? What does the Omnigun shoot? I forgot to try bullet stones - is it that, or something else?
