I'm having a simular experience with my Samurai. My fighter will usually do about 15 damage with his bastard sword, but my Samurai does about 3 to 5 points for each of his two attacks for dual weilding (And thats only when he hits! He usually misses.) Right now, he's 7th level, and my bard and priest do more damage than he does - on average. I kind of feel cheated with him, because I've put all my points into close combat, dual, and sword (Sword and close are in the upper 40's), and he sucks.
I'm thinking of starting over, and replacing him and my bard with a ninja and a gageteer, since I'm only in Anrika right now. I'd rather have a good party, than suffer through the game with a crappy character.
