Knarfling: Charter Reporter
EDITOR'S NOTE:
Welcome, dear readers, to the premiere edition of the Dominus Digest. Like it's sister publication, The Gael Serran Examiner, The Digest plans to bring you the best of the wild, the wacky, and the freaky occurrences on the land of Dominus, captured by none other than
you, our roving reporters in the field.
Upon its inception, the new publication issued a call: Catch "Saffy" (the Swallower) doing something outrageous and be the first in with a "scoop" about it to become Charter Reporter for the Digest. Our own Knarfling has risen to the occasion admirably with the following "teaser" we have to offer you.
Secret Deal Bites the Big One
Article and Photography by Knarfling
It was learned today of a secret meeting between Saffy (AKA the Swallower) and Burzz the traveling salesman. In the meeting, Burzz offered to trade news for a "favor" from Saffy. Burzz would provide Saffy with information on who was visiting the monastery, what products they bought and sold, and any tidbits on what they planned or how easy they were to kill for this unknown favor.
This picture was taken at great risk by Iola, who recently decided to try her luck at gadgeterring instead of barding. (Iola, the most humble, wanted it known that she made the camera from two venom crab shells, some skin from a seeker, some wires that were somehow torn from a now inoperative lift, and some silver from some melted down bullets.) Are you happy now, Iola?
The exact specifics of Saffy's part of the bargain were not discussed where it could be heard, but it was clear that Saffy agreed only with much reluctance. Saffy finally agreed to the trade after Burzz offered to provide a free meal as well. (Saffy's appetite is well known.)
The agreement, like Burzz, was short lived.
Look for future installments of The Dominus Digest, for all the Wackiness one can Digest at a sitting!
