At The Official Wizardry 8 Board, Ian Currie was quoted via email as saying,

"Yes, my last day is today as I've joined another company. This has no effect on Wizardry 8.

Sirtech continues to exist."

So I hope the games will still be published. I just wish someone give us something concrete about the actual release of the game.
