In my scenario, there are three distinct areas in which the PC's can buy it. The first area is a tournament of champions where every match is a death mactch (at least potentially). The second area is one in which the PC's are protecting a person from would-be assassins. The third area finds the PC's defending the land from invaders. I want each death message to reflect failure for the particular area.
