No.
Certain types of Golems (Adamantium and Stone for example) can only be hit by certain magical weapons (I think +3 or better).
Now you may have a +3 weapon, but the "higher-order" golems are 100% resistant to all but Blunt weapon damage, a little known or published fact for non-AD&D familiar people.
Make sure at least one person in your party has one of the following proficiencies: Flail, Warhammer, Staff.
Early on, you can get weapons in these categories that will be able to hit even the largest golems (i.e. Staff of Rynn from Ribald Barterman (+4), Flail of Ages in De'Arnise Keep (+3), Crom Faeyr is later...).
Also, Melf's Minute Meteors is considered a +5 Blunt Weapon, as are Fire Seeds I think (+3 though if I remember correctly). Either of these spells should be able to hit EVERY enemy in the game, and are a necessity for the soloist.
P.S. WELCOME TO THE BOARD NOOBER!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
