There is absolutely a need for monster pics- "You enter the dark cavern, your gaze transfixed on the pile of gold coins and jewels. It's not till you feel a blast of steam on your face that you notice the Red Dragon standing above the treasure!" Add one pic of a red dragon and bam! You're set up for a great situation.
