I've had this idea for a while. Always thought it would be cool in one of my designs. But since they never get finished, I might as well share it with everyone.
Now that there is virtually unlimited numbers of different monsters, I think it would be cool to give each monster (yes, each individual monster) or person encountered in combat has a different name (and possibly a different icon).
So if you are fighting a bunch of ogres, for example, you would see each ogre's own name when you are fighting them. Only problem is no repeat combat events, I guess.
This will be truly possible when multiple monster races are available.
