My apologies on the language if it offended anyone...Baldur's Gate is an adult game, and I assumed that it would have an audience of comparable age. I did cover it up a bit with the asterisks...but nevertheless I'll refrain from alluding to such language here again.
Anyway, thanks for all the help. I eventually DLed the patch, which stops the "Aerie stutter" and now everything works smoothly. Now if I could just figure out whether or not Anomen is going to go completely mad or not...ah well, I'll use the happy patch on him if he does. Annoying as he is, he's just too valuable to lose.
