Hey, what about Kenders? Throw a half dozen of 'em over to the enemies, they borrow all the weapons, make it easier for the flaming dwarves to come. Kinda like a first wave assault tactic. Oh, and what kind of catapult? I suggest using a three seater bow. Gives you plenty of torque for distance, smaller, easier to move, and just plain cool.
Comes complete with capes and goggles for the vertically challenged ones (and minotaurs).
