Ok, I saw this for the first time tonight. I just want to know, what was the point of this movie? I never bothered watching/renting as I heard the film sucked, but I bought it the other day just to check!
This is coming from a guy who owns over 500 DVD's, who loves films, and just thought it was plain lame.
I thought Signs & Unbreakable were ok, and I really liked the Sixth Sense (all by the same guy if ya didn't know), but this? This sucked.
The two major plot twists were very dissapointing, and to be honest, the whole film didn't have a point. Nothing happened.
Fair enough, I didn't see the two major plot twists coming, but they weren't very good and they didn't add to the story.
Plus it was totally unrealistic...
If you have a preserve where aircraft can't fly over, and with guard posts only every 10miles, do you really think no-one would have wandered in to check it out? Total b/s. Also, they'd never get clearance to stop flights overhead. Oh, and as if Kevin the guard wouldn't grass Ivy in for living there.
Ok, I know it's a film, but I just really want to know the whole point of the movie.
I don't mind slow paced films, as long as they have a good ending. This didn't.
At the two major plot twists, I just thought to myself "oh. Ok.". Surely they wanted more a reaction than this?
Please can someone point out what I'm obviously missing?</font>
