FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The person who wrote this has obviously read some of the expanded Star Wars universe.(In specific-The New Jedi Order) However the writer isnt Lucas. All of the novels that are post-ROTJ were authorized by Lucasfilms. The novels are by several different writers who at Lucas' request worked in concert to make sure the storyline stayed intact. Now there are his critics who accuse him of changing his story on the slightest whim, (Isnt it interesting how it's Lucas' story yet people won't let him write it?) but The plot line for episode 7 destroys plot elements introduced in NJO. The most glaring error is the idea that Anakin Solo and Ben Skywalker are both Padawan learners at the same time. In NJO, Anakin dies before Ben is out of diapers. In fact Ben wasn't even a twinkle in Luke's eye when Anakin Solo was born. The person who wrote "episode 7" is an Obi-wannabe SW writer (Pardon the pun --I couldn't resist). Anyone who is ready to believe this tripe as real probably still hasnt realized that the post about how Lucas was going to redo episodes 4-6 AGAIN--giving the notorious Jar-Jar a larger part-- was a very well-written APRIL FOOLS JOKE. I dont remember who posted it, but I give you thanks and kudos. I laughed so hard--first at your post and then at the people who were suckered into believing it. The sad truth is that the world is full of Obi-wannabes who want to write their own Star Wars stories. To these faithful Obi-wannabes(has this term been copywrited?) I say, keep writing and keep dreaming. I will freely admit that I wrote an episode 7 when I was 14---a nice little quest where the sons of Luke, Han, and Chewie, at the behest of Princess Leia go searching for their dads after they turn up missing. It turns out Vader had his own apprentice who was absent at the Battle of Endor. He was searching for Yoda and was on Dagobah when Vader dies. "Darth Vikor" has imprisoned Luke, Han and Chewie and is planning their demise in an effort to avenge his master. I still have the first 2 chapters on faded loose leaf paper. The story was a product of last period study hall and a typical 14 year-old mind that never could stay focused on one thing for very long. The only way my 2 chapters would ever see the light of day is if first I become a FAMOUS published writer and then get published in a posthumous book of my writings. I'm starting to ramble so I'll sign off.
