Fake. Lucas has already said that he wont be making anymore films in the series. Oh, didn't really look a the link, but if they made those episodes, they wold almost have to follow the Solo children. Just guessing.

Edit: Oh, and Sir G, the force vanish and hibernate are used in the books, though I don't recall any fire balls.
