Subtitled is always better than dubbed. I saw a subtitled rip of the movie before it was even released in the us as I recall.
Then I saw the dubbed version, dubbing just doesn't work.
For another GREAT subtitled movie get "Das Boot"... don't even bother with the dubbed version. It's the ultimate submarine movie, bar none.
