<font color="#ccccff" size=3>GT wasn't made by the Americans, it was made by the Japanese, but without Akira Toriyama. Toriyama felt the story was done and wanted to get back to another series he had done before Dragonball, so the publishers used his characters (which they owned the rights to) to do Dragonball GT.
The Americans ruined it in completely different ways...like when Goku visits hell- the guys there have t-shirts which read 'HELL' which was edited to read 'HIFL'; all blood was removed; Mr. Satan was renamed Hercule; etc. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
