There's a pretty good debate about it here: http://www.electricferret.com/fights/issue_142.htm
In the Secret Wars mini-series, Spiderman ends up fighting ALL the X-Men in a brief skirmish. He faced Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler and Professor X - and nobody so much as laid a glove on him. Wolverine lept at him from behind, but Spiderman's "spider sense" warned him of the attack. He spun around and basically "flicked" Wolverine away like a bug.

Of course, Spidey had one BIG advantage - the fight took place INSIDE. Most of the X-Men were getting in each other's way and Storm couldn't use her elemental powers. Spidey was quick enough to avoid Cyclops eye beams and his "spider sense" warned him of any sneak attacks. Nightcrawler teleported right behind Spidey, but Spidey turned and webbed him from head to toe before he could land a single blow. Spiderman also beat a VERY hasty retreat as soon as he could. Had the fight gone much longer, there is no doubt the X-Men would have eventually prevailed.

As for Spiderman vs Wolverine, I have the comic where the fought one-on-one. Spiderman "won" the fight, because he eventually got mad enough to quit pulling his punches. He had Wolverine on the ground and was just POUNDING him with rights and lefts at full Spider strength. But even though Logan couldn't get up, he just sat there smiling at Spidey. He still had the adamantium skeleton at that time and - while Spiderman's blows were hurting him - they never did do any real damage to him.

The fight could go either way, because Logan (for once) WAS pulling his punches. Spiderman is at an early disadvantage because he always tries to control his strength and punches. He very rarely unloads ANY hit with his full strength. Wolverine, on the other hand, is a born-scrapper and LOVES to fight. And he always (well, almost always) fights to win. His innate savagery vs Peter Parkers innate "timidness" would give Wolverine a BIG edge early. But once Spiderman decides to go "all out" and use his full strength, the fight takes a dramatic turn. Of course, it remains to be seen if even that would be enough to save Peter Parker if Wolverine did the same thing and went into one of is famous "beserker rages".

In the comic where they fought, Spiderman was terrified of Wolverine's claws. Spidey IS faster and more agile than Wolvie, but when Logan goes into his beserker rage, his speed also increases. And one solid hit from his claws would lay Spiderman open like a gutted fish. Whereas Spiderman has learned that he can't put Wolverine out, even when he DOES use his full spider-strength. Of course, that may have changed now that Wolverine no longer has the adamantium skeleton.

Still, based primarily on his sheer savagery in a fight, I would have to give the edge to Wolverine.
