Which makes no sense either
All in all the Blade movies aren't there for story line enjoyment. It's all explosions, Wesley Snipes rolling his muscles and vampires getting turned into dust.
The only good thing about Blade: Trinity is the appearance of Jessica Biel as Whistler's daughter Abigail. And I considered Hannibal King (Ryan Reynolds) as a comic relief pretty decent as well.
