Honestly, I didn't even know it was rated R. The beginning had some drug usage (and to be fair, there was pot smoking throughout by a friend of the main character), and there was some cursing, but that's about all.
Either way, harsh rule. I know another couple that has the same rule and the guy laments it all the time.
