By jove, I think I've got it. I haven't seen the movie and don't remember the name of it, but I just remembered seeing this particular scene on Entertainment Tonight a couple of weeks ago.
It is the movie about a German who is paralyzed from the neck down and wishes to end his life, but the gov't won't let him. Although paralyzed, he has actually written 3 books (or more) from his bed using his mouth to hold the pen.
Those are the highlights I remember of the film - and the fact that is based on a true story. The "hero" of the movie is real. So is his struggle to be allowed to end his life on his terms.
Is that good enough to get the prize???
