I've heard this theory a few times (in Canadian Bacon, for one), and have idly pondered its "Truth vs. Urban Myth" ratio. So let's do a quasi-scientific poll: Everybody submits a movie!
Include: The name of the film, the year it was released (this will help if I decide to tally the results year-by-year), and the race of the first person to die (within a reasonable doubt) in the movie. Try to include a brief summary of other (racial) information you think would benefit this study as well.
Please try to stick to English-language films only. For example, adding in lots of Hong Kong action films would really skew the data with a bunch of movies in which the chance of *any* black guy dying is slim to none.
