Ok - here is my way:

Preparation: Scrolls of Dispel Magic for Wizard
Wand of Monster Summoning (at least one)
before entering area cast:
Haste
Invisibilty 10' Radius
Enter the chamber
Split party into 2 groups of 3
Mage in one group, other spellcaster in other. Put each groiup in opposite corners. When Aec'Le'Tec does paralyze only one group affected

Cast Summon Skeletons/Monster Summonings
Shoot all the cultists down
Aec'Le'Tec will be held back by monsters (top them up now and then) but you need to dispel his death gaze effects whe necessary

When cultists dead:
SWARM him
