<font color=deepskyblue>The carnage is bad, but it is also uplifting - when you realize that Jesus was willing to endure such barbaric torture and to die such a horribly cruel death....all for the sake of atonement for our sins.
I have read about his trial, torture and Crucifixion in the Bible, but to see such a stark visualization of the punishment He endured for made me appreciate His Holy Sacrifice even more than I had before.
The movie is harsh, and not really suitable for anybody under the age of 14-15. It was very poor judgement on the part of the teacher to show the film to his 6th graders.</font>
