Dunno if anyone's aware of this, but an American film producer in the 1960's bought the US rights to the Japanese-made 'I Bombed Pearl Harbour', a film showing events from the kamikaze point of view. Why? Because said american producer needed to lose money for tax reasons.

EDIT: I hate unthinking censorship. 'West Side Story', gah. "It has *ahem* white people and *ahem* coloured people fighting, ergo it promotes racism." Give any theatre producer, or any student of ethics, fifeen minutes in the debating chamber and he/she'd have that overturned, but nooo, then you're 'politically incorrect'...
