i've been playing from '95 since just before fallen empires came out. i ended up wasting tons of time and money, but was happy. this time last year i sold about a quarter of my collection over e-bay (probably 10k cards) and more than made back all the money i'd spent years ago. [img]smile.gif[/img]
i buy a booster or two every now or then, when a new set has come out. i do pretty well with my group of buddies, but the two tournaments i have been in did not go so well-
not only did i lose out fairly early on, but to kids much younger than me. i was pretty frustrated until i found out that they had bought their decks from some guys who ended up in the semi-finals at one and the winner of next one.
the main drawback to the game, is that at most levels, money beats skill every time.
