Yeah that list at Wizards. is pretty much in order, read through em like that and you will be starting an epic quest in itself haha...
Be warned that there are quite a few stinkers in the DL series but then again there's a lot of fantastic ones as well. Chronicles and Legends are a must read and likely some of the best this series has to offer. Leave the Dragons of a new Age and War of souls till LAST, otherwise you're gonna spoil the hell out of yourself...
I could list a bunch of the GOOD DL novels but i cannot remember as it's been ages since i've read them... But it still is one of the best series i've ever read, really good stuff
Better than forgotten realms by FAR.
Oh and to get the back story of DL... read the books !! hahaha aside from the main sttory arcs there are heaploads of books that deal with events that happen between the major stories etc and deal with the history of krynn
I believe there is even a 'Histories' series somewhere as well as a 'preludes'...
