I have heard no one say bad things about the movie. All critics really like it, and it earned $150 mil this weekend. The worst thing anyone had to say was Samuel L. Jackson, who merely said "Yeah, he's good in this - let's see how he does when he has to play a doctor, or lawyer, or someone who's not Eminem."

I hope it does well for him. I've seen all the Access Hollywood interviews with him over the last couple of weeks, and he doesn't seem to think it'll be that great. He merely says that 6 weeks of acting boot camp and working with K. Bessinger made him realize he had to work really hard to not be the low spot in the movie. Seems very modest about it.

I like Em's music tons. And, he did come through the school of hard nocks. He's witty, hilariously funny, truthful, and one of the best lyricists not only in rap but also on the planet. My only criticism is that his favorite topic is all-too-often his own life, which is quite interesting but not the entire scope his talent should be devoted to.
