Assume that it is a comedy in the fantasy genre and you will not be disappointed when you watch it. I have watched it a couple of times, some scenes in slow motion to catch the animation and action, and have been entertained.
If you insist on taking it seriously (as most of the critics and reviewers seemed to have done), just remember how pitiful a brand new character is when you first start a new RPG game, and the antics portrayed may seem reasonable.
