A couple inconsistencies I've noticed since taking another look at episodes 4 and 5:
In episode 4, Obi-Wan doesn't act like he recognizes R2 or C3PO. Even says something like not ever remebering ever owning a droid... what about R4?
In episode 5, Obi-Wan's spirit says something about Yoda having been his Master... what about QuiGon?

Well, for a start, Obi-Wan still hasn't even *met* C-3PO. R4 droids are built into those Jedi Starfighters; it wasn't Obi-Wan's personal droid, but part of the ship, which he also didn't own.
As for Qui-Gon, oh yes, that's a LOT of help for Luke, isn't it?
Obi-Wan: "You must go to the Naboo system... there you will visit the tomb of Qui-Gon! The Jedi Master who instructed me."
Luke: "And do... what? Will he teach me about the Force?"
Obi-Wan: "Um... no, he's dead. Good point. Well, try Dagobah. There you will meet with Yoda! Another Jedi Master who..."
