It would be best, I think, to start with the Icewind Dale Trilogy.

These are the books that set the stage for all that follow and were the ones Drizzt was first seen in.
You might also buy just about any of the Harpers novels. All are written by different authors and they are stand alone books. "Night Parade" is a wonderful Harpers novel.
