I did a search b4 I posted but didn't come up w/ anything so I went ahead w/ it.
Nice to see that I wasn't completly off-base in my assesment (as to how others would enjoy it).
For an extra (if you havn't already read the series - and have similar tastes in books)
Try Louise Cooper's: Initiate, Outcast, Master. It has been well over a decade since I read that trilogy and its fresh in my mind - loved it (remember reading all 3 in one day).
