In a generalized, horrifyingly cynical sense (something that I'm actually rather familiar with sometimes myself), Jab is right. It's a lot of sword fighting (especially Drizzt) and sometimes questionable plot quality (if you are used to reading something better. That doesnt bother me though because I appreciate some of the finer qualities of the characters and the plot, although jab would say that I'm chasing ghosts, I honestly believe there *is* a nub of other underlying plot concepts moving under the surface
)
However, I like Salvadore, and I love Forgotten Realms, despite their faults.
I do have one specific pet peeve about Salvadore though: Why in the nine hells does he keep saying "orb" when referring to eyes? GAH!
