Thanks Djinn I was half afraid nobody would notice it and now I feel vindicated.
Ok your question magic dosnt come up a lot and its only really involved with 2 charecters so far but the nature of the storyline means it will become more regular. While it is very interesting in the book, in future books is where it will really shine.
Oh BTW in case anyone gets the wrong idea I really liked the book and it was very well written, I just had too many reservations to fall completly in love with it.
