Moiraine, Elric was not a man, he was a Melnibonean. They're Moorcocks dark elves who make drow look like flower picking goblin pilgrims on a journey to a shrine of Hieroneous (yes, we once saw three knight/paladin types murder a group of lawful good goblin pilgrims who didn't want any trouble). If you've read the first ever Elric story (the first one written) then you'll realise that you're wish has been granted. Elric is slain by Stormbringer at the end of Stormbringer (the first Elric novel). However, I must agree that I don't like Michael Moorcocks eternal champion system either (although this was the inspiration behind the original D&D alignment system (back when it was Law and Chaos, Good and Evil only turned up in time for AD&D, and a few articles in Dragon hinted at it in advance)).
As for the rest of you, keep 'em coming, I'm enjoying reading of everyones likes and dislikes.
