On your recommendation, Fljotsdale, I'll try it. I don't care who the target audience is, as look as the book is good. My book club has an omnibus edition available, so that makes it easy to get the series.

BTW, the title of the first book is 'Northern Lights' for the UK edition, but is called 'The Golden Compas' for the US edition.
