Yes, but the TSR writers (sorry, WOTC, old habbit, I just don't respect the new company so much) do seem to have a strong bias in favour of elves and humans (Drow are a subrace of elves, in 1st Ed they where a fictional joke, the Monster Manual claimed that they didn't exist and where used to scare people, then Fiend Folio came out with Drow rules and some people got obsessed). There are a lot of racists out there, you should see some of the great dwarven tales that I have penned
