I am really enjoying it (by the way, did anyone play the game?)

I read the riftwar saga, but not the serpentwar series, so I can't add to that debate, except to say that I really enjoyed the riftwar series.

The game rocked. It is amazing how closely the book follows it. I played the game about a year before reading the book, and the book was still good. They use most of the dialog from the game in the book.
