I thought the Servant of the Shard was readable and okay - but I liked the parts with Cadderly and Co. the least. It convinced me NOT to read the Cleric Quintet.
Of course, I'm a well-known critic of Salvatore, who can only do one thing very well: write a sword fight.
I think the only reason I continue to read them is I buzz through them at lightning speed and I have an emotional attachment to them because I began reading them when I was in High School. I think for the mature reader, there is little of worth in them.
That said, I am still offering my copy of Sea of Swords to the first taker. I quit reading it because it was so utterly crappy. It's a bit dirty and smells funny because I peed on it to keep it from stinking so much. You pay S&H. Any takers?
