Storm King, usually I try not to feed trolls but I'll make an exception here. Admittedly most of the the published stories do not compare to works from authors such as, Jordan, Feist, Lackey, Kurtz, Modesitt or even Williams, they are for the most part decent reading. The Forgotten Realms series has even produced one of todays best fantasy authors, Robert Salvatore. They are also a great source for information about Toril, Krynn, Greyhawk or the other settings. As this is a forum for discussion of AD&D Books, most folks are here to talk about the novels (and yes I know manuals and rulebooks are books too). What is the world without the game you ask? In the case of these series, they have a life of thier own and more folks that read the books do not play the game. Talk to the webmaster Ziroc, and see if he(?) will start a new forum for general discussion of the game.
