Well, that ALMOST sucks. It was only a proposal, after all. The best thing about a proposal is that it doesn't have to remain in the same place as it was before. For example, envision that proposition of mine, but placed within Level Six and Seven. Now, Xanather's minions rule those two levels with an iron fist. That doesn't mean that in some areas of those two levels that other "things" can't exist. Xanather, being a fairly smart cookie, could easily encourage such things to grow and spread. After all, if he sets things up correctly, his people could weave through the mess and the traps AND the living creatures while those foolish do-gooders (or rival ne'er-do-wells) who intrude upon his domain could become a virtual feast for whatever exists down that far. As I recall, Xanather's two levels are something akin to a sewer system. False directions, incorrect information, and at least one kidnap victim could easily send people rushing in to save the day, only to find themselves on the menu...

And there's something else that could also be done: a quest for that damned androsphinx you run into while down in the Xanather levels. What is UP with that creature anyway? Can you get it as a henchmen? Are you supposed to set it free? Does it turn into a celestial and vanish into the etheral heavens?!? C'mon, I want some ANSWERS over here! *grins at you*
