So the temperature here is trying very, very hard to get to 100 degrees.
My computer - bless it - is coping even though the fan sounds more like a turbine at the moment.
The problem is the modem. That is getting so hot I could cook a meal on it and it's liable to crash every now and again. I have had a rant at the cable company but I doubt it will do much good.
The upshot is that if I suddenly log out while talking to anybody it's nothing personal.
