I happen to like the kenku. Sure, they should look more like crows or ravens, but whomever spent all that time designing them must have had a set idea in mind. I can't get over the picture used for the Manor Gnolls, though. Makes me crack right up. Now if there were only a good way to make them into playable races (both the kenku and the manor gnolls). If nothing else, I have no idea how they would go about blending phenotype parts so people could change the armor/clothing on the gnolls and the kenku. Well, stuff like this really pushes the people at Obsidian and Bioware to remember that if they don't make their product good enough, there are dedicated people out there that will.

Of course, it beggars the questions:

1)) If the producers of a game know that they can rest easy since the players of said game will make their own solutions for problems or "holes in the fabric," will they? (Not refering to flaws in the gaming engine itself, or other issues which are mechanical and built into the game by mistake.)

2)) As well, if a video game is made based on another product (like a series of novels, for a good example), should the makers of the game actually concern themselves with making it as complete as possible from the start, knowing full well that many of those who will buy the game won't notice the absences? (extra areas which may or may not be used, bit characters who are not important to the main plot, certain phrases or sayings used by the people of the land, et cetera).
