Anyone building a Weaponmaster needs to think about the Devastating Critcal feat.
If using Dev Crit it is worth looking at the weapons with the best critical spread (kukris, rapiers, scimitars) and preferably keen. They all exist somewhere in Undermountain, usually at those lower levels you can't get at until your character ia already well advanced.
Longswords are available everywhere and many are quite powerful.
Two weapon fighting increases the possibility of a Dev Crit hit but will mean sacrificing AC.
