A router allows inbound traffic through ports that you specify in the routers firmware directed to specific internal IP addresses.

It sounds like your PC is receiving data through the router that is intended for the other PC's on your network.

Most internal addresses are similiar to 192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.2, 192.168.0.3 etc... When a PC sends a request to the internet the router monitors what PC it's from and then sends the repsonse back to the specific IP. To play online, you must have specific ports open on your router to let that traffic through. The port needed depends on the game. If that port is just forwarded to your PC, then the router will send all inbound traffic on that port to the one PC, instead of the other ones. The port needs to be forwarded to all internal IP's that are playing the game.

Check the manual for your router, or the Linksys website for specifics since each router is a little different.
