My lvl 40 had little trouble in the gauntlet, other than where it came to hurting Muriel's chosen harder than they can regenerate. It's possible, but a large group of those takes ages to overcome for the cleric (next time I'll bring more mass heal spells).
There's decent loot in there. Nothing to make my character change her current equipment, but take a lower level there and IF he walks out alive, and it's not after just ten seconds, they'll have their arms full of treasure and a grin from ear to ear.
