Ah yes, I had a similar sort of experience last night, although I doubt it's an Ironworks bug. I kept getting battle text of "Someone attacks Angry Valkyrie..." and when I sent a party invite to Angry Valkyrie then it popped up asking me to join my own party! All very strange. It seemed to coincide with the blank portraits shown in Stig's picture
